5 Questions You Should Ask Yourself
Craig Ballantyne recently sent this email out to is “Online Super Profits” email list. It was part of a homework assignment for his upcoming seminar/workshop attendees. The homework required that each business owner ask and answer the following five questions of themselves, as a way of helping them set priorities and recognize action steps:
1) Where are you in your business?
2) Where do you want to go?
3) How are you going to get there?
4) What is your “unique ability”?
5) Who is your who?
Q #1) Where am I in my business?
- Still not making the money I want to make
- Too spread out on too many projects
- Not committing the serious time to the most profit-potential projects
- Too focused on the short-term rather than the long-term
Q #2) Where do I want to go?
- To be able to work remotely, untied by geography
- Net $10k per month
- To live the life of “The Four Hour Work Week”
Q #3) How am I going to get there?
- get serious
- get busier programming
- focus on the long term
- create more intellectual property
4) What is my unique ability?
- Content creation
- Embracing new technologies
- Bringing concepts from one industry into another
5) Who is my who? (e.g., my target market)
- Small business owners that owe $30,000 to $500,000 in back employment taxes to the IRS
